Any mechanical equipment needs to be cleaned regularly, and the same applies to drip irrigation pipes. Winter has arrived, and many farmers plan to put away drip irrigation pipes and reuse them next year. Therefore, we need to clean them. Below, we will introduce the key to cleaning.

1. Drainage bottom valve: Open the drainage bottom valve located on the main branch pipeline in the field to drain as much water as possible from the pipeline. This valve does not need to be closed in winter.

2. Field valves: Place the manual switches of each valve in the open position.

3. Drip irrigation pipelines: Straighten each drip irrigation pipeline in the field without twisting it. If recycled in winter, be careful not to twist and place it.

4. All ball valves should be removed and dried before being placed in the warehouse or in a half open position to prevent freezing and cracking of the valves.
